Hyderabad, Sept.6 : Bombay High Court has asked prominent civil rights activist Varavara Rao to surrender before police before 25th of this month. The bail deadline of Rao was ended on Sunday.
Keeping this in mind, he approached the HC and urged it to extend the bail deadline. After hearing the petition of Rao , the HC asked the revolutionary writer to surrender before the police before September 25.
In his petition, Rao told the HC that it had granted conditional bail to him in February this year and added that he was staying away from his family. He told the HC that it was difficult for him to stay away from his family at the age of 84 years. He also told the HC that he did not violate any of the conditions imposed by the court . He urged the HC to issue orders to stay with his family in Telangana . It asked Rao to be in Mumbai till the 24th of this month.
