Tirupati, Aug.19 (Safir News): Union Tourism and Culture Minister G.Kishan Reddy today claimed that barring the implementation of all kinds of Central government schemes, no development took place in Telangana state. He also claimed that the central government was extending all kinds of assistance to the state and added that the implementation of some of the central government programs were being delayed due to the lack of contribution of state government’s share. Talking about the interstate water disputes, Reddy said that Telangana and AP should solve the disputes on their own. Speaking to media persons in Tirupathi ahead of his Jana Ashirwada Yatra , Reddy said that the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi had ensured social balance in the expansion of his cabinet. Targeting the opposition of the party, He alleged that the opposition parties had obstructed the introduction of ceremony of the newly inducted ministers in Lok Sabha and added that the PM had announced that the ministers would introduce themselves in the field while no information that the statement of the MP was the main reason behind the launch of his Yatra. Talking about the assistance extended by the center to the state, he said that the central government had sanctioned severely national institutions to the state and added that they had also developed Vijayawada, Tirupathi and Vizag airports. He also said that they had taken up the development of the tourism sector of the state under Dekho Apna Desh program.Reddy said that they would take up the development programs from the upcoming January month to December month. Commenting on the spread of the third wave of Covid virus, he said that they needed the cooperation of the people of the country for the prevention of the third wave. He said that he would meet doctors of Telangana state during his Yatra while noting that the PM has asked him to do so and Instill confidence among the doctors. He also said that they would give vaccine to the last person of the country. He said that the central government had given 4500 ventilators and provided injections to it. Talking about new Agriculture laws, Reddy said that they were only implementing the promises made in their party’s manifesto and added that the main objectives of the new laws were to give freedom to farmers to sell their produce anywhere in the country besides exporting them. He alleged that some political parties and farmer organisations were opposing the laws due to political reasons .
