Congress party condemns police excesses

Hyderabad, July 16 : Congress party today alleged that the City police had assaulted its leaders during a protest program held by the party demanding the rollback of petrol, diesel and domestic gas prices.The Chairman of the TPCC publicity committee Madhu Yaski Goud said that he was condemning the excesses of the police during their protest program . Targeting the Chief Minister of the state KCR he alleged that the CM did not respect the women of the State . Referring to the statement of State Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy that educated youth should also work Hamalis to earn their livelihood, he wondered if the idea of hamalis belonged to the CM . He mocked that state industries minister KTR was confined to his official Twitter handle and added that the son of the CM was nowhere to be seen in the state. He urged the congress party workers and leaders to explain the loot of PM Narendra Modi in the country as CM KCR in the state.He said that the protest program was held to prevent the loot of TRS and BJP in the state and the country. He demanded the central government to immediately roll back fuel and domestic gas prices. He called upon the separate Telangana activists to join hands with the congress to fight against CM KCR and PM Narendra Modi.
