SSC Exam in Telangana

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (UNI) SSC public examination will commence in Telangana from March 16 and end on April 4, School Education Department Director T Vijay Kumar said on Thursday.
Talking to newsmen here, Mr Kumar said that a total number of 5,52,302 students from 11,023 schools will attend the examination which will be held in 2,563 centers. Of them 2,55,318 are boys and 2,52,492 are girls, he said.
Mr Kumar said that of the total students, 5,07,810 are regular students and 44,492 are private students.
He said the hall tickets have already been sent to the concerned schools. If any one not received the hall ticket, it can be downloaded from the official web site www.bse.telangana.gov.in , he added.
Stating that there will be 4 Special Flying Squads and 144 Flying Squads to check malpractices, the Director said the examination will start at 0930 hours. The students should present in the examination hall at 0845 hours and they will be allowed up to 0935 hours (5 minutes as grace period) only, he said.
Stating that the Education Department has urged Electricity Department to provide continuous power supply at the examination centres, Mr Kumar said that besides imposing a ban on not opening Xerox centers, Section 144 will be in force in the surrounding areas of the examination Centers.
Medical and water facilities would be provided in all the examination centres, he said and added that the students will be debarred if they indulged in any malpractices.
