KTR launches MB Grid at Wanaparty

Hyderabad: Industries and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao today inaugurated the Mission Bhagiratha Grid at Kanaipally in Wanaparthy district.

Along with Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishan Rao, Planning Board Vice-Chairman S Niranjan Reddy, MP Jithender Reddy, MLA Srinivas Goud and Sports Authority Chairman A Venkateshwar Reddy and others, the minister inaugurated the prestigious grid of the drinking water scheme. The government spent Rs 345 crore to complete the construction works of the Mission Bhagiratha grid in the district. The facility will cater to drinking water needs of people. He also launched the linkage of the gird with the village. At the site, KTR also formally opened a tap to fill a steel pot on the occasion.

Earlier, the minister attended some development programs in the district. They include road beautification works from RTC Depot to old bus stand and also he laid foundation for the works of a park in 22nd ward.
