Harish Appoints Five-Year-Old Nehal As Irrigation Ambassador

Hderabad: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today appointed a five-year-old  Nihal as brand ambassador of the Irrigation department for his tremendous knowledge over irrigation projects. The tiny tot, studying UKG, spoke for 20 minutes continuously on the irrigation projects in the State with minute details, he said. This was astonishing and laudable, the minister said.

At a meeting at Jala Saudha here on Sunday, Harish Rao announced that the Irrigation department will bear the expenditure on education of Nihal of Pandillapally village under Chintakani mandal of Khammam district. “It took me six months to understand the projects of irrigation in the State.  But the boy of five years giving minute details of several projects was awe-inspiring”, he  said and appreciated the boy’s parents and pledged to support Nehal for his future endeavors from the government.

The wonder boy Nehal caught the attention of one and all as he continued to give details of the projects with re-designing and instructions made by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The minister was aghast at the stupendous knowledge and memory power of the child. Nehal said he wants to meet the Chief Minister and is likely to see him soon.  Harish Rao directed the officials to make arrangements for a tour to all the irrigation projects to Nehal and his parents.
