The new assembly building, equipped with all modern facilities and technology, was constructed at Velgapudi in record time of 192 days.
Addressing the gathering after inauguration of new assembly building, the chief minister gave a warning that in spite of hurdles from some quarters, development of the state can not be allowed to hamper.
Recalling the events of bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu said they came here with a heavy heart after 58 years. Except problems, there was no money. But our determination to work hard has yielded good results and today we have built a modern assembly building with all facilities, he said.
The precautions taken in the construction of new building was that nobody can break the mike and no attack can be carried out on the assembly Speaker. Members can express their views. However, there was a difference between feeling of emotion and behaviour, Naidu said.
Water level in Srisailam was being maintained and every Monday the government is reviewing Polavaram project works and review on Amaravati on every Wednesday, the chief minister said.
The government has a target to develop Andhra Pradesh as number one state among developed states in the country by 2029. Expressing happiness over functioning of his government, Chandrababu Naidu said the he always worked hard with dedication. Despite provocations, he works and has a patience for the welfare of the people”.
Andhra Pradesh is the only state which has achieved double digit growth and bagged many awards, the chief minister said.
