Hyderabad : Reiterating that Nalgonda Municipal chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas’ murder was a political murder, Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today alleged that Srinivas was murdered as he refused to join the TRS. The Congress party approached the High Court to order CBI inquiry into the case.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Komatireddy said the confidants of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao were stating that the government would not provide call data instead of announcing the same by Home Minister or DGP. The Chief Minister was indulging in murder politics. He said he asked Telangana Congress in-charge RC Kuntia to announce 50 percent candidates for the elections before March. “I also suggested to Kuntia to concentrate on Hyderabad. The Party needs padayatra to take the TRS party’s cheating to the people. I am ready to tour the entire Telangana State if the party gave responsibilities. Otherwise, I will strive to make the party win all seats in Nalgonda district”, he asserted.
